Lightlines and The East Carnegie Calligraphy

Artwork commissioned by The City of San Jose, CA, for a modern addition to the original East Carnegie Library in the East Santa Clara neighborhood. Lightlines is a ceiling hung reflective light sculpture comprised of aluminum coils, punctuated with laser cut iridescent "edge light" acrylic calligraphic forms which are transparent on the clear surface, but brilliantly colored on the hand scored light lines and edge cuts.
